Putting First Things First...

This year I taught my Student Leadership class the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. They were probably not aware that as I taught them these habits, I was taking notes myself. The 7 Habits are:
1) Be Proactive
2) Begin With the End in Mind
3) Putting First Things First
4) Think Win-Win
5) Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
6) Synergize
7) Sharpen The Saw.
Right now my mind is on habit 3 - "Putting First Things First." When we discussed this habit in class, I posed the question, "What are the biggest time wasters in your life?" The answers ranged from Facebook, to downloading music, to talking on the phone, to school. Then, students brainstormed ways that they might better utilize their time. They concluded that it would be more beneficial to spend time studying, doing homework, or helping out around the house.
So, I was inspired to do some personal reflection and identify the biggest time wasters in my life. I'm pretty sure that all of my biggest time wasters are mental. I simply spend too much time thinking about things that do not help my personal growth. So, I'm in prayer about readjusting my mind and thoughts, so that I may grow and be more productive in life.
God bless... my thought process (att: Cee-lo)...
So, what are your biggest time wasters? (rhetorical question)
